I just got home from my birthday party. I had a really fun time. We rode go carts, played mini golf and air hockey at the local skating place. Wed from 9-midnight is adults only time. Mark was cut from full time down to part time at the end of March. He was only scheduled for 27 hours this week. He now has to take hours whenever he get them, which means we are apart on our one day off a week together. This is compounded by the fact that I work 8-4, and he usually works until 10:30. 2009 has started off pretty well. Mark and I ended 2008 on a high note. We went to Liquid Ginger for lunch. I had spicy creamy shrimp, it was breaded and glazed in the spicy mayo sauce they use for sushi, and Mark had lime crispy tilapia. So yummy! Then we went to Maude's for coffee and dessert. My cat, Nightshade, lost my bowl of crickets. I bought some from the pet store to feed my toad. I keep them in an old Country Crock dish with a food source (and air holes). I stupidly left the container on the floor, even though I saw Nightshade near it. I wanted to feed Mortimer (the toad) this morning, and I couldn't find the dish! I think ( Read more... )
